UP Power Corporation Limited is undergoing a massive computerisation programme. The programme is being co-ordinated by  General Manager Computerisation Unit. COMPUTERISATION in UPPCL

1. Shakti Bhawan and Shakti Bhawan Extension buildings has been connected by Optical Fibre backbone.

2. Server has been commisioned at Shakti Bhawan. Area/Zones/Circles will be connected through Dial-up soon.

3. Zonal/Area & Offices of DGM's of Distribution/Transmission wings have been provided computers. Server at each zonal headquarter installed.

4. Establishment of Central Payment for offcers/officials is in progress.

5. Infrastructure of about 300+ Computers already exists.

6. Development of Web based applications intranet under process.

7. Regular Training on computers has been arranged at Electricity Training Institute , Sarojini Nagar & at Shakti Bhawan ,Lucknow.
