    • PRADHANMANTRI SAHAJ BIJLI HAR GHAR YOJNA (SOUBHAGYA) – Under this scheme,  electricity connection were started for BPL families for free and other families @Rs. 50 in 10 monthly installments. 1.23 Crore families have been targeted to electrify under this scheme. Under Saubhagya scheme, 51.04 lakh families have been issued with electricity connection from 11.10.2017 till 24.10.2018. 
      Under Saubhagya scheme, a mobile app “E-Sanyojan Mobile App” was launched with the aim to provide new electricity connections on spot.  Now consumers don’t need to approach offices for new connection.  During the financial year 2018-19, 8.92 lakh families have been issued with new electricity connections through E-Sanyojan Mobile App till 24.10.2018.
    • Regardig  Bijali Raahat Yojna 2025-26
    • In old scheme, farmers of private tube well had to bring their transformer to workshop on their own. In new system, if they don’t have any electricity bill due, their damaged transformer will be replaced and transported through official vehicle within 48 hours. 
    • To fetch damaged transformers from venue to workshop and carry new transformers till their work place is the duty determined for the department.
    • According to the new system, effective from 01 May 2017, damaged Transformers in urban and rural areas will be replaced within 24 and 48 hours respectively.
    • The restriction which was imposed erstwhile to release new tube well connections in Dark Zone, has been uplifted and directly facilitated approximately 1 lakh farmers.
    • The existing system of “Estimate” was abolished for providing electricity connection up to 05 KW in easy monthly installments under “Sugam Sanyojan Yojna”. If new 03 connections are applied altogether, an electric pole and LT line will be provided till the venue to issue electricity connection on departmental expense.
    • Consumers are provided with the Self Bill Creation facility (Trust Billing) through the website and paying the bill online.
    • Mobile App E-Nivaran – Through this app, consumers can create their electricity bill, pay and lodge complaints.
    • In the Bundelkhand region, a seasonal tariff facility has been provided for irrigation of single Rabi crop for consumers of private tube wells in rural area. Instead of only private tube wells, this tariff facility is also provided to the owners of Oil seed crusher, Bait Machines, Rice Huller. According to this facility, such affected people will be provided 75% discount on fixed charges/minimum monthly dues in other than seasonal months.
    • A system is under process to provide 5% discount for the electricity consumers of private tube wells, who deposit their bills on time. 
    • In the past, billing of private tube wells, which were fed from the feeders of Taj Trapezium area, was being regulated according to the urban tariff list.  The same is now being done as per rural tariff list based on the decision taken by DVVNL.
